Sunday, February 24th saw 775 tri-athletes from 58 take part in So Sri Lanka IRONMAN 70.3 Colombo that commenced at 615am. The race began with a 1.9km swim on Galle Face, followed by a 90km three- loop through the Colombo Port, Colombo Fort Area and Marine Drive and finishing with a two-loop half marathon through the Colombo Port that ended at Galle Face Green.
The flat and fast course through the bustling Colombo city, was enjoyed by both the participants and spectators, with the race concluding at 3pm. find below the winners list in the solo category:
